The garden

The creation of the late Patricia van Roosmalen-O’Brien, the secret garden used to be one of Flander’s most beautiful show gardens. Now, the meditative atmosphere in the various garden chambers will enchant your senses.

Slow living, profound effect

In the quiet pittoresque village of Oud-Rekem, time stands still. The historic buildings breathe the events of times gone by. Go out and discover the 16th century chateau d’Aspremont-Lynden, the museum church, distillery Senden and the old streets paved with cobble stones. Or you take an electric bike to enjoy the Spring blossoms in Haspengouw, the Voerstreek and the natural variety in National Park Hoge Kempen.
